DHA exam is a licensing exam given to all medical aspirants who are longing to work in the Emirates of Dubai. Healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, lab technologists, anaesthesia technicians, respiratory therapists, radiographers, allied healthcare, X-ray technicians, etc.
Dubai Health Authority aims to offer an accessible, efficient and integrated healthcare system to protect public health and improve life value within the Emirates. The medicos are mandatory to pass the DHA exam in order to acquire a professional license and practice their profession in the Emirate of Dubai. After passing the DHA exam you can practice in each emirate without attending any additional exams or tests.
HOW TO GET A DHA LICENSE?
Before applying for the examination, you should visit the DHA website to find out the eligibility criteria especially related to your working experience and registration.
1. Verify Documents
Complete some procedures for your document verification named Credential before you apply for the examination. After getting your eligibility ID you can go for Data Flow, examination, or both at the same time.

A recent passport size photograph
Copy of valid passport
Your educational qualifications

Practice license or registration
The Good Standing Certificate (GSC)
A 2-year surgical logbook for surgeons
A medical fitness test in case the candidate is aged 65 and above
When your DHA license application is approved, submit-
An offer letter from your recruiting facility
A malpractice insurance certificate from your recruiting resource
A DHA license has one-year validity, after which you need to renew it. You can apply for DHA license renewal three months in advance of the expiry date.

Prometric is an independent examination board to judge the skill levels and knowledge of the applicants. Once you pass your Prometric CBT assessment and the PSV review, you can progress to register yourself for the DHA license in Dubai.
3. Get Registered

Provide the proper information
Upload the necessary documents
Pay the DHA registration fees of AED 200 then submit
Schedule your Prometric exam. The examination consists of 70 questions and you are expected to score at least 60% to pass the exam. Results are usually released in 5 working days.
